Ground rules: The classic Arthur Queen Aquaman against the Kraken of the second Pirates of the Carribean movie. The fight will take place in the Atlantic Ocean.
Personal Bias: Arthur is a better character than most give him credit for his appearances in the Justice League alone. The Kraken was cool for the Hans Zimmer theme that accompanied it, but I thought it was a cop out how it was found dead in the third movie of the series.
Fight! Aquaman coming face to face with the Kraken will make clear to him right away that he can't win this battle on his own. The Kraken will have to chase him.
As Arthur swims away he will have the beast gaining on him. He will attempt to reach out to communicate, only to learn that the Kraken is out for blood. Luckily, Aquaman is a relatively small target, able to weave in and out of the hosile tentacles. Using telepathy, he will make a call out for help. He will also tell nearby fast swimmers, probably dolphins, to go warn the city of Atlantis of the beast and request the Atlantian Army's aid. Sharks and other sea predators will do their best to ...
